TripadvisorI like Chopin - Grand Piano Concert Would highly recommend. This was an amazing small concert, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The two young gentlemen that spoke and performed were very hospitable. They spoke in both Polish and English, and made everyone feel welcome. A variety of pieces were performed, with a histoical/contextual snapshot provided for each piece/set of pieces. The very talented musician played the grand piano beautifully.

TripadvisorAn hour of music that will be remembered Very warm, chamber atmosphere and beautiful concert. I studied piano at music school for seven years, so I especially appreciate live performance — and there were literally goosebumps a few times. An hour went by unnoticed. The concerto format was particularly enjoyed: it is not just a continuous performance of works, but a live meeting with the audience. The music is accompanied by commentary, historical context, and short stories about Chopin and his works. This makes the concert even more profound and emotional. The small hall, candles and proximity to the piano create an almost homely, very private atmosphere. Live music is not comparable to any record, though. I've made a few little memento videos, and now this concert will remain one of the most beautiful parts of my trip to Gdansk. It was a great emotional pleasure and I absolutely recommend it. I wish this young project a long life and many grateful listeners.

What a wonderful experience! The venue is in the heart of Gdańsk, with convenient parking nearby, making it very easy to get to. From the very first minute, you could feel how much heart and passion the organizers had put into this concert. For over an hour, I completely forgot about the outside world and simply enjoyed being present in the moment. The music selection was beautifully varied, so there wasn’t a single boring moment. The bilingual hosting in both Polish and English made everyone feel welcome and included. After the concert, I even bought a Chopin T-shirt as a lovely souvenir! Pianist Maciej is incredibly talented and truly brings the music to life. I will definitely come back whenever I need to relax, slow down, and immerse myself in beautiful music. Highly recommended!

Amazing performance and a fun local experience in Gdansk! The additional information about Chopin and the other composers as well as explanations of the songs were very interesting and made it even more enjoyable of an experience. It was about a 15 minute walk from my hotel in the heart of old town and well worth the effort. I highly recommend this concert!

We had a wonderful evening at I Like Chopin. The experience is a 50-minute candlelit piano concert held in an intimate and cozy venue, creating a truly relaxing and elegant atmosphere. What makes it especially enjoyable is that it’s not just a concert. Between the performances, the audience also learns about Frédéric Chopin’s life and his music, making it accessible even for people who are not experts in classical music. This is a great idea for anyone looking to spend a pleasant evening while discovering one of Poland’s greatest composers in a relaxed and engaging way. The atmosphere is warm, the performance is beautiful, and the storytelling adds a lot to the experience. It’s a fantastic concept created by a group of young people who have only recently started this project. We sincerely hope it continues to grow and becomes a great success. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Gdańsk.

This one-hour piano concert on Rajska Street in Gdańsk, right next to the historic Duży Młyn, was a truly memorable experience. As someone who loves both Queen and Chopin, I was curious to see how such different musical worlds could be presented in a piano format. The result exceeded my expectations. The venue has a warm and intimate atmosphere, enhanced by hundreds of electronic candles that create a magical evening setting. The soft light makes the audience feel relaxed and fully immersed in the music from the very first note. What makes these concerts particularly special is that every piece is introduced with a short commentary and an interesting story. Rather than simply listening to a sequence of compositions, the audience is taken on a fascinating journey through the background of the music, the lives of the composers, and the inspiration behind each work. These introductions are engaging, informative, and often surprisingly entertaining. I was also impressed by the story behind the business itself. Two young gentlemen decided to leave what they felt was a dishonest and limiting management environment and build something of their own. Their passion, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit are visible in every aspect of the event. It is inspiring to see people turn a difficult experience into a successful cultural venture. The combination of Chopin’s elegance, Queen’s timeless melodies, thoughtful storytelling, and the candlelit atmosphere creates a unique and unforgettable cultural experience. I highly recommend these concerts to anyone visiting Gdańsk or looking for a special evening filled with music, inspiration, and genuine passion

A great concert with a fantastic and nice artist. At the end we had a small Talk and some pictures with him and our daughter was allowed to play also one of her favourite pieces on the piano! That was a fantastic experience to her, thanks so much for it!

Excellent performance, lovely music and atmosphere. Timing was perfect and piano player was very professional, and there were intervals between the concert where a brief history of the music was shared. Overall it was a great experience, would recommend.
