Candlelight Concerts in Gdansk - Programme 2026 and Tickets

What makes our concerts different from those at a philharmonic or a huge concert hall? Here, nothing stands between the listener and the instrument. Only a few metres separate the audience from the artist. That's why our candlelight concerts stay with you for a long time. Just pick a date, buy a ticket and enjoy the finest music in a truly atmospheric setting.

Three intimate programmes

In the mood for classical, rock or cartoon tunes tonight? Playing every day in our own hall gives us a luxury most organisers don't have: with our concerts, you never have to wait for the programme you've been longing for.

I Like Chopin: daily at 7:00 pm

This is definitely not your typical classical music concert. Our recital is also a story about the life and work of the composer it's named after. Before each piece, the pianist tells the story behind it: what was happening in Chopin's life at the time, what inspired him and where that particular music came from. This makes the evening meaningful even for someone who has never been to a piano concert before. You don't need to know anything about classical music to leave feeling that you've truly understood this journey through the work of the Polish pianist and composer.

The programme includes, among others, the Mazurkas Op. 24 and 33, the Études Op. 10 and 25 including the "Revolutionary", the Polonaise in A major Op. 40, the Ballade in F major, the Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2, the Preludes Op. 28 and the Funeral March from Sonata No. 2. Alongside Chopin, you'll also hear works by Beethoven, Schumann and Rachmaninoff, giving you a better sense of the era in which Fryderyk Chopin composed. The pianist plays a slightly different programme every day, so no two evenings are the same.

I Like Queen: daily at 8:30 pm

Same place, same piano, a completely different hero. The hall that was breathing Chopin just an hour earlier swaps Fryderyk for Freddie. At I Like Queen you'll hear Queen's greatest songs in piano arrangements by Phillip Keveren – once again by the light of hundreds of candles, in a wonderfully moody atmosphere.

How do the legendary band's biggest hits sound without amplifiers and the echo of a stadium? During almost an hour with the British band's music, you'll also get to know the extraordinary personality of Freddie Mercury himself and his transformation from a shy boy into an absolute titan of the stage. We promise: "The Show Must Go On" sounds completely different on the piano than it would at Wembley Stadium. You have to experience it!

Muzyczne Krainy (Musical Lands): Saturdays and Sundays at 3:00 pm

A concert for children – and not the "sit still and be quiet for an hour" kind. We invite our younger and older listeners to help create the concert! Every young music lover gets their own Music Passport at the door and spends the next 45 minutes exploring musical lands, solving puzzles and completing tricky missions along the way.

At this concert we mainly play music from films and games that children know inside out: The Lion King, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Super Mario Bros., KPop Demon Hunters and many more.

Where do we play?

We invite you into our world of live music by candlelight. All concerts take place at one address: Rajska 4C in Gdańsk, in a cellar arranged especially for these evenings. The hall seats up to 50 people, so the furthest seat is closer to the instrument than the front row in most concert halls. When designing our hall, we paid close attention to the acoustics, so that nothing gets in the way of the music.

Right in the city centre – a six-minute walk from Gdańsk Główny station and a fifteen-minute stroll to the Long Market (Długi Targ).
